Our client, an award winning central Law Firm is looking to recruit an IT Trainer for a fixed term 12month contract, to assist with the delivery of IT training for all staff in the organisation on existing and new products, from support staff to partnership level.
Key Tasks and Duties
-Delivery of classroom and 1:1 standard/tailored training, coupled with post training support, across a full range of Microsoft and bespoke applications for approximately 600 users across multiple sites.
-Assist in evaluation of new software - the design and delivery of new courses from introductory to advanced levels with associated exercises and supporting documentation.
-Creation of intranet based learning materials.
-Scheduling, booking, publicising courses on the intranet and maintaining the IT Training diary and database
-Identify training needs of all new staff joining the Firm and current employees who need further training and development
-Keep up to date with IT development
-Continually review and improve internal and external IT training initiatives by identifying problems and opportunities, building these into the training programme
-Evaluate training and identify where this has been applied to job
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
-The successful candidate will ideally have solid previous training experience, preferably within a law firm and feel comfortable working in a team environment.
-Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite
-NVQ 3 (or higher) in Training & Development (or equivalent)
-Desirable but not essential - MOUS certified and FETC Stage 1 and Stage 2
-Familiarity with any of the following software will be an advantage:
-Client Relationship Management Programs - ideally InterAction, Document Management Programs - ideally iManage, Case Management Programs - ideally SolCase, Accounting Programs - ideally Practice Manager, Deltaview or Workshare document comparison tools
