We are currently working on behalf of a leading Insurance and financial Services organisation who due to their continued growth are looking for a Technical Engineer Team Leader to join their Bristol site, the company are growing at a massive rate and this is an excellent opportunity to join this fast moving ambitious organisation
The Role
To lead a team of Engineers to achieve company and individual targets, making sure that the group guidelines are kept to. You will be Responsible for operational service delivery in engineering area and achieving the stated SLA’s and will need to take responsibility of implementing company initiatives to achieve cost and service goals whilst Administering work flow areas to ensure team have flow of work. You will provide technical and system support to team members and other teams within the organisation and be Responsible for the provision of MI in order to monitor individual performance
Key Skills and Experiences required
• City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent
• Full member of the Institute of Automotive Engineering Assessors or working towards
• Thorough knowledge of Thatcham times/methodology
• Sound knowledge of Computer Assisted Costing systems
• Ability to interpret Excel reports
• IT literate – knowledge of Word/Excel and Access
• Ability to analyse information and propose solutions
• Proven experience of managing people within a delivery role
• Proven negotiation and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to manage workload in a busy customer-facing environment
• Ability to show a professional image at all times
