Due to continued successful growth, our clients based in the North of Bristol are currently looking for a HR Business Associate
Role Purpose:
- To improve business performance in line with the Group and SBU/SSU strategies by providing a comprehensive Human Resources service to various client managers, management teams and SBUs/SSUs.
- To be an integral member of the management teams
- To act as first point of contact for the management team for all HR issues in relation to their strategy and operational issues across the SSU/SBU.
- To be an active member of Group HR Team, contributing to projects or work streams that impact across the Group, sharing experience and good practice with functional colleagues. It is also anticipated that the HR Business Associate will participate in Group HR initiatives as requested.
- This role is similar to the HR Business Associate but will have a greater scope and impact and will be required to independently lead business change programmes

Requirements
- Full / part CIPD Qualification
- Significant experience of operating as an HR partner/manager. Working in partnership with line management and HR Teams to develop and implement people related policies, change etc.
- Strong professional knowledge
- Expertise across the full range of HR activities including HR Policy, Performance Management, Talent and succession management, business change, employee engagement. Working knowledge of employment law, reward and Learning and development
- Track record of project and change management
- Additionally, the job holder is likely to have one or two areas of expertise/responsibility which is provided to the HR team and Group in general.
- A solid operational HR knowledge including experience of supporting managers through business change.
- Experience of HR policy development and implementation.
- Good working knowledge of employment legislation and the companys HR policies and values
- Good knowledge of employment law and the ability to interpret and apply legislation.
- Good facilitation and influencing skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with business managers at all levels.
- Broad experience of coaching and training
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
- Pro-active problem solving skills.
- The skills, experience and competencies to be a credible contributor to HR discussions with senior managers and within the senior management team.
- To be able to exercise sound judgement in balancing the needs of the business, with corporate and legal functional standards - the role requires a high level of influencing ability to achieve effective short and long term outcomes.
- At the same time the job holder must ensure the delivery of fundamental services requiring high quality HR operational support and timeliness.
