Challenging interim opportunity working for the government agency in the North of Bristol, for a period of 12 months, with possible extension. The organisation have just moved to a shared services model and a project team to assist with integration means cover is required as an operational HR Business Partner.
This is a true Business Partner role! It is an autonomous role but with peer support and extremely challenging. It requires a high level or prioritisation and problem solving as well as the ability to make difficult decisions and judgements. We are looking for exceptional influencing skillls and the confidence to challenge decisions of senior executives with a consultative approach.
We are looking for a proactive approach, not candidates who are used to just following processes and advising on policy and procedure in a reactive way. The successful candidate will be able to pull together HR priorities to form a 'big picture' and communicate these effectively with the business. They should be able to offer business focused solutions based on risk and be adept at identifying needs.
You should be an experienced HR generalist, with excellent operational experience and ideally CIPD qualified with experience in a range of industry sectors. The ability to be effective immediately to deal with employee relation issues, is paramount.
