Our client, one of the UK's leading general insurers has a number of vacancies for Credit Controllers in Central Bristol. The roles will involve undertaking effective credit control of a panel of broker accounts.
New vacancies have arisen in Bristol City Centre for Credit Controllers within one of the UK's leading general insurers. The roles will involve undertaking effective credit control of a panel of broker accounts focussing on collecting insurance premiums from the broker. Prioritising daily workload to achieve agreed targets, maximise cashflow and to minimise bad debts. Collecting outstanding premiums, cash allocation and reconciliation. Building and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers. Cashflow management. Resolving account queries with brokers and underwriters.
A background in credit control within an Insurance environment is preferred. Must have the ability to apply effective credit control techniques in a regulated environment. Good financial awareness, strong numeric skills and knowledge of Excel to at least Intermediate Level. Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) including Maths & English.
