    Job Title: Client Services Administrator
    Reports To: Head of Corporate Actions/Dividends
    Hours Of Work: The contractual hours are 9.00 a.m. – 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday - flexibility is required

    Description: To process corporate action events, dividends and interest received within the required timeframe and to provide administration support

    Responsibilities:
    • To process all equity, unit trust, OEIC, income and accumulation units received ensuring a high degree of accuracy at all times
    • To deal with any client/IFA queries received by post, email, fax or phone until the matter has been satisfactorily resolved
    • Ensure that all new systems, procedures or policies are followed as directed by the Head of Corporate Events
    • To process Corporate Actions within Crest and an understanding of Crest procedures
    • Being an established source of knowledge to all IFAs, clients and other staff members
    • Taking on ad hoc duties and tasks as and when from the Head of Corporate Events

    Qualifications:
    • At least 2 years experience of working in a similar role
    • Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ)

    Required Skills:
    • Previous experience in Financial Services preferable - Global Custody, Investment Management or Funds/Equity administration, Stockbroking
    • Previous experience in Corporate Action administration would be a preferred requirement, including Crest procedures
    • An good understanding of investment products and share types
    • Good understanding of dividends, including tax treatments for both UK and Overseas income received
    • Accuracy when processing dividends or corporate events
    • Good understanding of the various types of corporate actions and ability to distinguish between voluntary and mandatory events
    • Ability to reconcile stock holdings
    • Ability to prioritise
    • To be able to communicate clearly and precisely, especially when dealing with complex queries
    • PC literacy and internet skills Personal Qualities:
