Our client, a financial services company based in central Bath is seeking a client services administrator to join their team.
Role:
To process corporate action events, dividends and interest received within the required timeframe and to provide administration support.
Responsibilities:
• To process all equity, unit trust, income and accumulation units received ensuring a high degree of accuracy at all times
• To deal with any client/IFA queries received by post, email, fax or phone
• Ensure that all new systems, procedures or policies are followed
• Being an established source of knowledge to all IFAs, clients and other staff members
• Taking on ad hoc duties and tasks
Qualifications/Experience required:
• At least 2 years experience of working in a similar role
• Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ)
Ideal candidate:
• Previous experience in Financial Services preferable - Global Custody, Investment Management or Funds/Equity administration, Stockbroking
• Previous experience in Corporate Action administration would be a preferred requirement, including Crest procedures
• An good understanding of investment products and share types
• Good understanding of dividends, including tax treatments for both UK and Overseas income received
• A team player
• Confident manner both written and verbally
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive attitude
• Ability to make a positive contribution to both the section and the Company
Salary: £19,000-£23,000 per annum
Hours: 9.00 a.m. – 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday - flexibility is required
