We are looking for someone to support delivery of training for staff employed in the Helphire group through the creation of bespoke Computer Based Training packages. The successful candidate will be able to facilitate learning and development for all staff through training interventions as required by the business through business change and other key developments. Along with this, you will be required to deliver training programmes for the Helphire group as are required.
Principle Responsibilities
•Work with Business Experts around the group to design & build on-line learning modules.
•Providing expert knowledge within Group Training department on the use of technology to support learning
•Ensure learning modules for new projects or products are signed off by appropriate business experts.
•Ensure that all training activity undertaken through on-line training is captured by the HR system through the training administrator
•Maintain and develop the Training Directory
•Maintain an up to date knowledge of CBT and the latest trends and developments within the CBT industry
•Understand and keep up to date with procedures and information relating to all aspects of regulatory impact on the Group. Review Induction training programmes on a regular basis to ensure the method of delivery continues to meet changing business needs and results in improved performance.
•Support the delivery of generic training events such as the Company Induction Day.
•Promote reputation of Group Training.
•Understand and respond to changing business needs as agreed with the Group Learning and Development Manager.
Key Skills & Knowledge
•Communication Skills: able to impart information in a clear and assertive manner, both in writing and verbally, to be able to transfer this to on-line learning modules.
•Planning and Organising: able to effectively plan and organise training resources; adaptable and able to reprioritise activities to meet changing business needs
•Performance Motivation: able to work well under pressure and with the minimum of supervision.
•Interpersonal Skills: able to effectively interact with a range of people, influencing them to take a pro-active approach to training and development; able to make suggestions to improve working methods in a constructive way.
•IT Literacy: able to maintain a high degree of accuracy with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of using design software to produce basic CBT packages
•Willing and able to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns, for example to support training delivery to “Out of Hours” staff to include those working in other locations/subsidiaries.
