We are currently working with a well established and expanding Insurance Brokerage who are looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to join their team based in Bristol
The Role
To administer a portfolio of client Insurance programmes in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures, the candidate will need to be able to handle a full range of Commercial Business across all classes with a strong knowledge of D+O and PI. Working closely with the account executives you will be your client's first point of contact for cover queries, mid term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issue and many other tasks and projects.
Experience/Skills required
• An understanding of commercial classes of insurance acquired from experience within the industry, ideally from s similar role however candidates must have 2 years Commercial Lines Experience
• 2 – 5 years commercial broking experience. Preferably at least a level educated.
• Organisational and time management skills are essential as well as a client focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• There is scope for development to becoming a Senior Account Handler from this role.
In return this position will pay a basic salary between £18,000 and £25,000 DOE with excellent development
