Our client has offices in France, Germany, Scotland, Morocco and Spain and a turnover well in excess of £70 million

They are currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Account Manager to run their Retail and Hospitality client team. Our clients are looking for candidates who have previous Field Sales / Account Management experience ideally with a knowledge of the retail and hospitality sectors, although this is not essential. This role looks after National Accounts and will be based in the field for 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be accountable for the submitting and achievement of budgets by maintaining and developing an allocated portfolio of Accounts.
-The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Manage customer relationships to maximize profitable growth of the business
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Formulate and implement business plans in line with set targets, with regular reviewing
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Effectively utilise all appropriate sources of management information to monitor business performance and identify actions for improvement
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Attend and chair inter-departmental meetings to raise and address issues
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Attend internal and external meetings to present evolving strategies
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Initiate and maintain effective communication on issues that impact on business performance, to ensure the sharing of best practice and key information
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Effectively utilise the forecasting management information and attend regular customer meetings to communicate Account status and gain the appropriate sign for production where necessary
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Provide advance forecast information in respect of catalogue standard garments where appropriate i.e. new contracts, roll out and large volume orders
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Provide within agreed timescale detailed visit reports and update on market information
- The Sales Manager / Account Manager will be responsible to Maintain relationships with Account Executives and through strong team working, lead priorities and tasks to meet portfolio targets

Sales Manager / Account Manager Qualifications / necessary experience
- GCSE's; Maths, English A - C
- A-Level calibre desirable
- Driving Licence - extensive UK travel expected
- An understanding of margins and profitability
- Previous experience in an Account Management / Business Development role
