| New and exciting opportunities to join one of the UKs leading production and AV service companys Hotel In-House Technician (Audio Visual & Conference, Presentation Services) An On property Audio Visual Technician is required to be based within a premier Hotel and Conference centre in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Conference AV industry, as experience is essential together with excellent customer service, sales and organisational skills. You will need to be well presented, with a pleasant and professional attitude. The job role will include planning and organising of presentation AV equipment & services for forthcoming conferences and events, taking overall responsibility for the set-up of equipment and services and the operation on the day. AV Technicians - Bristol AV Technicians required to join the Bristol team! The ideal candidate would have a good all round knowledge of Audio Visual equipment and of working in a conference environment. Duties would include: Checking in and out of equipment for dry hires Preparing, testing and setting up of equipment including sound, lighting and projection equipment. Maintenance of stock, organising repairs Operating AV controls during events Providing client support, staying calm under pressure and being able to fault find calmly and effectively. Training new equipment users Presentation Good presentation with a pleasant and helpful attitude. There are no formal qualifications required, but experience is essential along with: Good IT knowledge Clean driving license Awareness of electrical safety Ability to work as part of a team and alone Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 1:3 weekend Salary £12,000 - £18,000 DOE The hours can be long and unsociable so flexibility would be required and a good sense of humour always helps!!
