Our centrally based clients are currently recruiting for a number of Customer Service Advisors.

Working within their Health Assurance customer service department you will be dealing predominantly with incoming calls and requests from a number of sources including members, sales representatives, intermediaries and internal colleagues. Within this role you are a main point of contact for the above.

Duties / Accountabilities to Include:
-Treat all callers with respect and in a manner that always enhances the company image and increases the awareness of products & services.
-Ensure that all requests are handled within the published service standards.
-Ensure that any transfer of calls is handled to the agreed standard & only transferred where there is no other option.
-Be fully aware of the compliance complaint procedure and handle queries and record in accordance with this.
-Understand data protection implications and follow procedures as stated in the data protection guidelines.
-Accurate input to the application pending system in order to request the required information and also ensure that colleagues can follow the process of the call & therefore the application.
-Ensure that all follow up dates are set correctly and that all files are filed within the correct part of the manual diary system to allow for the efficient & effective flow of work around the department.
-Always look for ways to improve the quality & efficiencies of the service provided
-Ensure promises that are made are delivered when required
-Issue accurate & complete terms of acceptance
-Follow upcases where evidence is outstanding
-Update & maintain Internet request sites e.g. Meditrak, Amiserve, Positive & Mint
-Fast and accurate input of applications- ensuring all member, GP and agent details are keyed correctly
-Assist the customer service team where required.
-Complete Telephone admin tasks when required

Experience
-Solid previous experience within an inbound customer service focused environment
-Previous insurance experience advantageous
-The ability to work on own initiative
-Willingness and adaptable
-Experience of dealing with IFAs advantageous
-Fast and accurate keyboard skills
-Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
-Decision making skills
-Day to day administration of daily activities within own hands.
-Upward review for contentious/compliance issues.

Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: £15,615 (includes £615 yearly food allowance!)
