    RSA is one of the UK’s leading insurance firms, and we are currently looking for talented individuals with world class customer relationship skills to become a Customer Manager within our Claims department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly enjoyable, results-driven and cooperative team environment.

    As a Customer Manager, acting as the first point of contact for our customers, you will answer calls, understand requirements and identify the best possible solution in line with company processes and procedures. We currently have roles available in both sales and customer service disciplines, where you will undertake a brief but intensive training programme to provide you with the skills and expertise necessary to succeed in whichever path you choose.

    What we need from you is a genuine desire to help people whilst ensuring the customers feel valued at all times, along with high levels of motivation to either achieve sales and retention targets, or deal with customer complaints.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • A demonstrated desire to ensure that customers feel valued
    • Analytical – able to identify solutions from a range of options
    • Able to remain resilient and manage emotions when dealing with unhappy customers
    • Good listening skills and able to ask a range of questions to obtain information

    AS A CUSTOMER MANAGER – CLAIMS HOW WILL I HELP?

    • Answering calls or processing work at the designated levels in order to achieve sales and retention targets
    • Achieving customer satisfaction targets in order to meet defined customer service proposition
    • Handling and resolving customer complaints within own authority limit
    • Delivering the relevant brand promise to customers in order to maximise customer retention
    • Providing guidance and support to others in the team to enhance team effectiveness
