| An experienced Materials Scheduler Team Leader is required for our client based in Gloucester. Main Purpose - To support the director with procurement of raw materials, to drive down purchasing and inventory holding costs, whilst ensuring that customer requirements are met at all times. Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the purchasing department, ensuring that the departmental KPIs are met and team development. Qualification and skills required - 1. Member of CIPS or holder of CPS qualification Preferred. 2. High standard of written and spoken English. 3. High mathematical standard. 4. Strong negotiation and communication skills. 5. Knowledge of MRP, JIT and Kanban advantageous. 6. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/Access/Reports. 7. Experience in staff training.
