Production Supervisor Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 (based on experience) Overview Engineering company based in Cheltenham with over 10 years experience and with partners in Asia and Europe, they are a leader in the supply of technical automation products. Supplying to more than 30% of the Japanese Machine tool Industry and over 50% of the Taiwanese machine tool industry. Responsibilities The Production supervisor will be responsible for prioritising workloads and insuring that the workshop production targets are exceeded. The Production supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining stock control in order to keep the production process running to schedule. Working on the shop floor, you will also be required to operate manual milling/turning machinery and set/operate CNC machinery (program editing would be an advantage, however, full training will be given on the system). Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have a machine shop background (ideally apprentice trained but not essential) with hands on experience in setting up tooling and operating both CNC and conventional Mills and Lathes. This position would suite a CNC Setter/Programmer, Production Engineer and is commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham.
