My client are a well established, market leading Company involved in the haulage/logistics industry. They are currently looking for an Account Manager to build up their own desk. You would be responsible for developing successful client base, and then developing these relationships. Key responsibilities would be: To develop a full understanding of the company and history and the role within. To generate new sales either over the telephone, actively logging all client profiles onto the sales and marketing system. Develop new business out of existing customers by continuous monitoring of accounts whilst proactively pursuing undeveloped areas. To process consignments through the computerized system. To monitor consignments ensuring that every function is carried out and customers requirements are met. To provide accurate and cost effective quotations to clients either by telephone or face to face. To effectively communicate with all operating centres your clients needs and ensure that they are carried out.
