As a Contingency and Event Manager, your remit will be to plan for mainly scheduled events that have the potential to disrupt or compromise our road network. Working in partnership with our Regional Control Centre teams, you will devise and implement detailed contingency plans and act as an internal representative for the department.
Your knowledge of business continuity, or emergency planning could be the product of a specialised degree course or another related role. In either case you’ll display serious attention to detail, coupled with the diplomacy and assertiveness to put plans into action.
