| Business Development Insurance Booker Are you an insurance broker looking for a fresh challenge? Have you dealt with new business accounts and worked in business development? We have be asked on behalf of a leading financial services organization in Bristol to find up and established insurance BDM’s and brokers looking for their next step in an established company that will allow them to have the impact they are looking for. Our Client is an independent large organization with flagship offices in Bristol. The brokers will be heavily invested in with training and formal qualifications. There will be a great opportunity to be mentored and coached by a management team clear in their direction and established in their past successes. The role will involve the individuals working in the clients High Net Worth broker team dealing with a variety of people at different levels managing the full lifecycle of individual accounts. In addition Learn to manage and build relationships with clients, promoting a favorable image of the company. Learn to provide new business quotations for certain classes of General Insurance on request. Where customer requests are beyond your range of experience or authority, immediate referral to be made to your mentor or Section Head. Open, develop and manage new business opportunities across high net worth clients from existing and new client bases. Build a general knowledge of designated clients, their industry and business operations. Ensure that a working knowledge is developed of each client’s insurance history and their insurance policies in force. Provide information and assist in the preparation of risk presentations to designated carriers/markets and to clients. Assist in the promotion of positive sales development of designated clients including cross selling activities. Learn to provide full service delivery to all clients ensuring that service standards are at the highest level. Learn to produce and progress policy documentation for cases which have been agreed to ensure timely and accurate file management. Assist customers in initial reporting of claims, subsequently ensuring that the matter is accepted and dealt with by Claims Department. Comply strictly with all FSA and Company procedures including the completion of a minimum of 12 hours Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each calendar year. Comply strictly with all Health and Safety requirements. Attend any training courses, presentations or other procedures as required by the Company, to increase product knowledge and maintain competency to fulfil the role. Any other duties required by Directors, in accordance with the nature of this position They are looking for up coming commercial brokers whom share their values of professionalism, expertise, and desire for high standards.
