| IN BRIEF Our clients an international and hugely successful car rental company have a fantastic opportunity for Graduates to join their Management Training Programme. Due to their rapid growth, they have many opportunities for their entry level management trainee position. As a trainee, youll learn to run your own business from the ground up, and coupled with promoting from within 100% of the time, this position offers a unique opportunity for fast-track career progression. In the South West, they work as a team to make sure they are growing and succeeding - both individually and as a group. Just because they are an internationally successful car rental company doesnt mean that they cant deliver a personal, entrepreneurial approach. People tend to find they can really shine with our client on the Management Training Programme. Youll be joining one of their branches as a Management Trainee and in as little as two years youll have learnt all the business skills you need to run it yourself. After an initial classroom based orientation session, youll be assigned to a branch office for the hands on business training, including management skills, finance, marketing, sales and customer service; learning the kind of knowledge youd usually only get from an MBA. Throughout the scheme, theres a series of carefully monitored tests and evaluations, after which youll receive pay increases, rewards, and much, much more. Starting off as a Management Trainee with a competitive income, you'll be assigned to a branch to learn all about the business. Within as little as eight to twelve months, you'll move up to a Management Assistant, and then the next promotion is to Assistant Manager. From then on you'll also receive a percentage of the profits generated by your branch, which means you could be doubling or tripling your salary within just a few years. Oh, and additionally they offer a range of other rewards such as the service award programme, employee referral bonuses, recognition awards, company sponsored events and the international language programme You role will include the following elements: - Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental need in person or by phone. - Drive customers and deliver vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner, assisting with customer items as needed. - Conduct follow up with insurance agents, dealerships, auto body, road side assistance, national reservations, various businesses and customers to obtain appropriate information, status and availability of rentals and customers vehicles. - Understand, communicate and sell optional protection packages, terms and conditions. - Understand, communicate and sell vehicle benefits and features of all vehicles. - Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when needed. - Assist in Branch Marketing efforts (outside sales) as needed, to increase business and income - Work schedule generally consists of 50 hours per week.
