    Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Travel Insurance Sales Team Leader to join their company. This will be a key role to support our clients strategy to launch a new Travel insurance department.

    This is an exciting time to join the company as you will be instrumental in recruiting a brand new staff team (of around 8-10) and making the team and department a success within the business


    The Job
    To lead, motivate and develop a contact centre team to provide an efficient, professional, friendly and high quality standard of service; focusing on dealing with customer enquiries and pro-actively selling and promoting products and services to new and existing customers in the contact centre, so that their requirements are fully satisfied and to contribute personally to the growth of the business.

    The skills
    - Previous Travel Insurance experience
    - Proven ability to personally deliver constantly high standards of quality in a Sales/Customer Service delivery environment;
    - Enjoyment and experience of working to quality and productive targets and achieving these
    - Experience of managing groups of people.
    - Experience of working in a contact centre and an understanding of how to manage teams well in this environment
    - Ability to learn and retain product and procedural information on an ongoing basis;
    - Ability to navigate around computer applications effectively, preferably around Microsoft Windows;
    - Ability to deal with a diverse range of people issues.
    - Ability to lead and motivate others.
    - High focus on people and their development.
    - Excellent communication skills.
    - Business Processes knowledge
    - Experience of providing successful coaching and feedback
    - Relevant experience in a customer sales/service environment
    - Excellent telephone manner and oral communication skills and ability to explain technical subjects in an appropriate manner for different customers to understand;
    - Accurate and proficient typing skills.

    Hours of work:
    -37.5 Hour week - Working shifts between 08:00-22:00
    - Additionally working either Saturday or Sunday 1 weekend in 3 (Saturday 08:00-17:00, Sunday 09:00-16:00)
