Due to continued success and growth, our clients, an insurance company based in North Bristol are looking for 4 Motor Claims Consultants
The Job
To settle Motor claims so that the requirements of the customer, claims policy and Group strategy are met.
Responsibilities
- To settle claims through the proactive management of all parties, providing earliest resolution of claims, and maintaining the average life of claims within targeted levels.
- To investigate recovery cases and ensure they are passed to the recoveries department to retrieve.
- To identify any invalid claims and to deal with in an appropriate manner.
- To identify suspect fraud cases and ensure they are then referred to the appropriate department to deal.
- To be responsible for resolving customer complaints within specified service levels, controlling associated costs and adhering to regulatory requirements
- To proactively manage caseload in timely manner and in accordance with quality standards.
- To be responsible for complying with all internal, regulatory and statutory standards and controls, so that the requirements of the group and regulatory bodies are met.
Experience
- Ideally previous experience in a motor claims /insurance role
- Alternatively previous customer service experience
Salary will be dependent on experience
37.5 hours week, Monday-Friday, hours between 08:00-20:00
