| (I.T) Information Technology Our Client requires an application software engineer to join their existing team. responsibilities include development and maintenance of a range of tools from within their suite of EDA software. The team also have a significant involvement in the areas of CAE Integration software, PCB migration links and other internal software tools to support the company’s development process. There is also some scope for customer-specific development projects. Software development is carried out in C and C++, in a mixed environment including Windows (PC based) and UNIX workstations. The work requires an involvement in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from initial prototyping and specification through design, implementation, testing and documentation. Essential Good engineering or software based degree (2.1 or above) C and C++ programming within both a UNIX workstation and MS Windows (PC) environment. Experience of relational databases. Experience of data translation projects and/or software interfacing (data) Data modelling experience and an understanding of complex data structures. NB.
