A great opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join a friendly team at a company that makes a real difference to people’s lives. This organisation is a is a health and social care charity providing community care services for people with learning disabilities, older people and people with mental health needs, including dementia.
You will be responsible for managing the payroll function and providing a full payroll and superannuation service. You will also be responsible for liaising with the Head of Finance regarding the provision of financial information. Your payroll responsibility will include the accurate and timely preparation of a monthly payroll for approx. 1200 staff.
General duties
• Act as the department’s first point of contact for PC troubleshooting.
• Maintain compliance with the Data Protection Act within the payroll environment.
• Responsible for the supervision and personal development of payroll and pension assistants.
• To be responsible for own personal development with support and guidance from the Head of Personnel.
• To contribute to maintaining the safety and security of the office environment by following the Trust’s Health and Safety Policy.
