Our client is a leading international environmental and engineering consultancy with 10 locations in the UK and IRE alone.
Due to their success they are currently looking to recruit a technical administrator provide support to a team of engineers, project managers and the Profit Centre Manager
The role will involve working with external clients, project teams and internal support departments providing various administrative functions including:
- Preparation of Power Point presentations
- Setting up and managing Excel based records and data systems
- Provide support to Project Managers on the finance system to include resourcing, invoicing and reporting
- Chase and enter weekly timesheets for absent, remote and site based staff
- Produce graphs/charts for project reports
- Assist with the day to day running of key projects
- Support the Profit Centre in recording holiday records and sickness absence
- Provide administrative support to the preparation of bids and associated documentation
- Preparation of minutes of meetings for team members/project managers as required
- Write, format and distribute reports as instructed by the team
Candidates will have a background within a corporate administrative/secretarial/PA or support role and have proven administrative skills including personal organisation and planning.
Effective business use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) is imperative. Knowledge of MS Project and Sharepoint would be advantageous but is not essential
A high standard of communication skills are also crucial to succeed in this role
