    Resource Direct is currently looking for an experienced manager / team leader to establish, run and lead a settlements / processing department within a large and reputable financial services provider. You must have knowledge of trade settlements processes and cash processing and must have dealt with and worked with IFA firms.

    The company is an international provider of financial and investment services. They employ over 12,000 people and have offices in over 20 countries around the globe.

    The role sits within the operations department and the team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client and counterparty cash flows. It is the responsibility of the manager / team leader to run the team, set the standards the company wishes to attain, embed the service culture and take an active part in growing the function.

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not restricted to:

    • Active management of trade lifecycle and exception processing
    • Processing of settlement payments relating to market counterparties and to clients as appropriate
    • Monitoring and actively controlling debtor and creditor levels
    • Processing corporate action events within the regulated timescales
    • Problem solving and issues resolution
    • Calculation of trail commissions due, collection of these monies and allocation to advisers and clients
    • Building relationships with market counterparties and their support staff
    • Manage the team and ensure that standards are maintained
    • Assist with the training and induction plans
    • Assist in growing the team

    To apply for this role you need to have previous settlement experience and an IAQ qualification is also desirable. You must have experience of working with IFA firms and need experience of working within financial services at a management level.

    You will be rewarded with an impressive basic salary and bonus structure of circa £30,000 to £35,000. You will receive comprehensive support and be given the autonomy to directly influence the growth and development of the department.
