A Leasehold Services Officer is required by our Social Housing client based in Bristol.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, working 37 hours per week.
The role is to monitor, identify and recover arrears of rent and service charges for Shared Ownership and conventional leasehold properties, including offering leaseholders debt and arrears advice, plus directly manage blocks with substantial leasehold ownership, including the letting and monitoring of service contracts, and ensure the effective delivery of a range of tenure types, including Right to Buy homes, market and intermediate market rent properties, Home Buy and Key Worker accommodation, leasehold for the elderly and student accommodation.
To apply you should have experience in property management. In particular a good understanding of the landlord and tenant relationship related to service charges, and the management of lease terms and the interpretation of statute.
