Area Sales Manager
Covering the South West, Ideally based on M4 Corridor

Our client is the global leader in the design and manufacture of flooring to both the residential and commercial market places. Their product range is sold throughout the UK and Europe and is supplied on a variety of projects in all industry sectors and they now have an opportunity for an exceptional Sales Person to join the Field team to develop the specification and contractor business further.
THE ROLE
You will manage and increase the portfolio of clients within your territory that will include Contractors, Architects and Specifiers as well as specialist retailers and wholesalers. You will develop and implement a sales plan that will increase the number of specification opportunities from these, visiting your clients and end users of a frequent basis. You will follow all quotations through to sales and liaise with Area Managers to ensure the installation of each project is completed successfully.
THE PERSON
You will be well educated and have a strong sales background, ideally gained in the Construction / Specification sector, with knowledge of developing distribution channels. You will be an excellent communicator and have good rapport building skills, be self motivated and manage your time well. You will have professional sales and presentation skills and in-depth knowledge of use of sales techniques, coupled with a high degree of self-initiative. You will also have good IT skills and be proficient in using database's and Microsoft office products.
