Triumph Consultants Ltd (TCL) was established in 2000 and is a specialist supplier of temporary and contract personnel to the public sector, particularly local authorities, but also to the police and other emergency services as well as other bodies within the health and education sectors. We have more than 250 public sector clients to which we supply on a national (UK mainland) basis.
We have always supplied staff to large, public sector outsourcing businesses, but this has more recently also started to involve us with blue chip UK corporates who have been seeking temporary and contract resourcing in their own right. This is anticipated to be a major growth area for TCL, going forwards.
We provide temps and contractors across a very broad range of disciplines (and at all levels of seniority) with the notable exception of social care workers.
Our preferred means of working with our clients is via vendor neutrals and other managed service providers.
We work very differently from the majority of temporary staffing agencies, avoiding, for example, the use of “database mining” techniques and preferring instead to work on each role with fresh candidates, each of whom is individually assessed on the basis of their skills and relevant experience.
We are an internet based agency and none of our consultants, nor their support staff, are based at the premises above - which are back office only and deal exclusively with payroll, accounts and HR issues.

Our business model generally operates on the basis of us posting the roles and our candidates applying for them. That sounds as though we treat our candidates as commodities, but it is an approach that works because it ensures a) that all candidates put forward to our clients are actively seeking work and b) that we never "tout" candidates’ CVs around the marketplace without seeking their approval first - a practice that all too many agencies are guilty of.
Please note that we post vacancies for a month, but do not renew postings within this period. We do, however, take all advertisements down the moment we are notified that they have been filled. That way, you can be sure that any vacancy you see on-line from us will be a live one.
